Equity benchmarks continued to consolidate in morning ahead of expiry of November derivative contracts on Thursday. Benchmark indices ended lower on Tuesday, weighed down by market heavyweights such as Reliance Industries and Infosys, with investors now focussed on September- quarter GDP data, due on Thursday. Asian shares also fell, stepping back from decade highs as Chinese stocks stumbled for a second straight session. MSCI’s broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan slipped 0.3%. The 30-share Sensex is down 105.85 points at 33618.59, while the Nifty is down 29.20 points at 10370.30. The market breadth was narrow as 1367 shares advanced against a decline of 1344 shares, while 158 shares were unchanged.
