Reliance Industries Limited
Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has raised $ 200 million through 20-year bonds. The notes have been issued at par and will bear a fixed interest rate of 5 per cent per annum with interest payable semi-annually in arrears. These notes, denominated in dollar, have been issued primarily to Taiwanese life insurance companies and are proposed to be listed on Taipei Exchange.

Colgate Palmolive India
Colgate Palmolive India reported 23.68 per cent rise in its net profit to Rs. 163.63 crore for the quarter ended March 31 on account of robust sales. The company had posted a net profit of Rs. 132.30 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal. The company’s total income from operations rose to Rs. 1,028.51 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs. 927.28 crore for the same period year ago.

Tata Power
Tata Power has reported a turnaround performance, logging a consolidated net profit of Rs.159 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015, compared to a loss of Rs.145 crore in the year-ago quarter. The profitability is due to lower depreciation and drop in coal prices. For the reporting quarter, the net revenue was at Rs.8,167 crore as against Rs.8,862 crore in the year-ago quarter.
