In Thursday morning trading session, Indian Rupee opened with the gain of 15 paise at 66.99 against the Dollar. The Sensex and Nifty gave a bigger opening after the Rajya Sabha’s approval for most awaited GST Bill yesterday. BSE Sensex is currently trading at 27747.12 with the hike of 0.18 percent and NSE Nifty is at 8556.55 with the gain of 0.14%. BSE Consumer Durables has already lost 1.43%, while Auto, Healthcare and Metal sectors are trading with higher profit margins. Both Small Cap and Mid Cap sectors are trading up with the hike of 0.50%. Tata Motors, Tata Motors (D), Tata Steel, Adani Ports and Hero Motocorp are the top gainers, while BPCL, Zee Entertain, IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank and Idea Cellular are the top losers today. In Global Market, American Index Nasdaq is up by 0.43% at 5159, European Index DAX is trading with 0.25% profit, while other European indices are trading low in negative zone. Almost the whole Asian Market trading positively except Shanghai Composite, Japan’s index Nikkei is up by 1.06% at 16254, while Strait Times and Hanag Seng are trading around 0.45% up today.
