Equity benchmarks continued to be volatile in morning trade as investors awaited the interest rate decision from two-day Monetary Policy Committee meeting that started today. The 30-share BSE Sensex was down 5.53 points at 32,509.41 and the 50-share NSE Nifty rose 4.10 points to 10,081.20. The broader markets outperformed benchmarks, with the BSE Midcap up 0.4 percent. The market breadth was positive as about 1,122 shares advanced against 1,028 declining shares on the BSE.

Tech Mahindra’s profit was Rs 588 crores in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2017. In the first quarter of fiscal year 2018, Tech Mahindra’s income has decreased by 2.12 per cent to Rs. 7336.1 crore. Tech Mahindra’s income was Rs 7495 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2017. Tech Mahindra’s dollar income in the first quarter of fiscal year 2018 is $ 113.81 million.
Interglobe aviation – In the first quarter of fiscal year 2018, the profit of Interglob Aviation has gone up 37 percent to Rs 811.1 crore. In the first quarter of the financial year 2017, Interglob Aviation’s net profit was Rs 591.7 crores. In the first quarter of fiscal year 2018, the income of Interglob Aviation has increased by 25.6% to Rs 5752.9 crore. In the first quarter of fiscal year 2017, the income of Interglob aviation was Rs 4578.8 crores.
